When I enter the office first thing in the morning, my nose tells me there is fresh coffee in the breakroom—at least one pot of regular and one pot of what I call “the high test.” I’ve learned not to try to interact with any coffee lover before they’ve had their first cup—their elixir for life in the new day. F-32-TR: Fouling Evaluation of StreaMax™ Coating Using Desalted Crude Oil 28 presents the results of a test comparing the fouling performance of plain carbon steel tubes with tubes coated on the inside with StreaMax. This report also discusses a procedure to measure coating thickness using a 3D optical profilometer, as well as a method to estimate the thermal conductivity of the coatings from experimental data.
